Apparently the hybrid version is rated at 5,7l/100km in the city.

Is that rating doing the usual hybrid "cheat" and starting out with a fully charged battery and driving to limit the engine use ? ... or do we have an hoest maker for once

    ME ? Cynical ?? never

That rear has certainly outdone Bangle on ugliness !!

EDIT: Lies, damn klies, statistics and then hybrid claims Runs electric till 47mph

The result? MKZ Hybrid is projected to be the most fuel-efficient luxury car in America.**

**41 city/36 hwy/39 combined mpg. Ford preliminary data. Pending EPA certification. Excludes diesels.
So mediocre results in the small print AND they avoid diesel comparisons !!!!!

I'm willing to bet a tenner that this car wouldn't do 6,0l/100km here. At all.

Yeah stuck in usual European city grid lock for 30 mins to flatten the battery and it'll be 20mpg

A then, put it on the motorway. And watch as the miles per gallon drop alarmingly...

The hybrid figures seem unlikely in the real world but that's a good looking car. The only thing I'm not totally sure about is the grill, in my mind it just doesn't fit the proportions of the car.
