    Aston Martin Rapide - 4 Door Aston concept based on DB9

    Concept will be shown in Detroit next week. Another Flying Spur on our hands, but interesting thing is that it beats the Porsche Panamera to the table... oh well, I guess Porsche will have time to size up the competition!!

    I saw this today in Autocar magazine...can't say I like where all these supercar manufacturers are going...

    Rapide... last car called a Rapide was a Skoda...Not a good start...

    I think it looks really nice... but will it really be a true alternative or just another also-ran.

    You say its better than the Panamera (which hasnt had any specs/photos attached yet) or the Flying Spur...in what way? Looks, performance??

    Last time I checked, the Flying Spur was rated as a very nice car. And will the Aston engine be able to handle all the extra weight??

    im a fan of the DB9 but im not sure if the 'LWB DB9 style' Rapide does it any justice.....im not saying it looks bad but.......all current models do look quite different, so should this

    Here are more pics...It's okay looking but I would prefer a new front end on it.

    It should fit well with the Mercedes CLS and upcoming Porsche Panamerica.
