No. I was lucky to find such an unmessed car. It would be a crime to start moding it. It will be my everyday transportation. I will only change the air filter for something that allows the car to breath better and later in the year I'll find an LSD for it.Originally Posted by taz_rocks_miami

yes, but the heavy engine will make sure that the balanced handling of the car will disappear. It will be only good for straight driving and fulfilling the US quartermile obsessionOriginally Posted by rev440

So yesterday I left office earlier so I could finally wash my new passion, and give it the deserved TLC.
I was looking forward to put in my garage, strip it all up to watch details closely. And so I did.
All the time since I first travelled 300kms to see the car, I was hoping for a catch. A downside somewhere in this business. I found none, but was aware that even after the deal was made I could find something that could take the stupid grinn out of my face for a moment.
Well, it did not happen. The cleaning session only served the purpose of stunning me even more. Like a friend of mine said, it seems like the car was inside a vacuous room, waiting for me. I found last night this was not a big exaggeration. They say good things come to those who wait. But not even in my wildest and most optimistic dreams, I could see myself finding a Miata on this condition. Seems like I found the dream deal.
To prove it, I made a photo tour around my car. Mind that this is a car that made it's 14 th anniversary this month.

4 different views of the cockpit. Only the upper carpets look used and need to be replaced. Usually Miatas seats are weared and loose shape (I've seen many before), but those are tight and comfortable.

3 views of the engine bay and one of the alluminium bonnet. Notice the condition of all the warning stickers that usually are burn, cracky or dirty. Also notice that the exhaust manifold cover, that usually is a bit red or in rust color because of the heat, is absolutely new.

Nice!

Excellent choice, i wish i'd fit in one. I was trying out the fitting about a year agoo, and when i got into position, i could only see piece of metal above the front window, and i couldnt close the door because my knee got stuck between the door and the steeringwheel.
I'd love something that nimble which fits me! Good choice trading the 206 in!
