I THINK THE NEW MIURA IS BETTER LOOKING THAN ANY CURRENT LAMBOURGHINI.
WHY IS IT WRONG TO BRING BACK CARS FROM THE PAST ANYWAY, IN MY OPINION CARS FROM THE PAST ARE A LOT BETTER LOOKING THAN THE CURRENT CROP
OLD V8 VANTAGE IS BETTER THAN THE NEW ONE
OLD MIURA BETTER THAN THE GALLARDO
    OLD GT40 BETTER THAN GT
    E-TYPE IS BETTER NEW XK
F40 IS BETTER THAN THE ENZO.
AND ANY OLD MASERATI APART FROM THE BITURBO IS BETTER THAN THE NEW ONES.

NEW ONE LOOKS A BIT STUPID WITH THOSE SHINY WHEELS

I think that they could be on to something.

We need cars that go back to the era of the 50s/60s when most cars looked absolutely gorgeous.

However, I don't think we need exact replicas.

A new design using the same form language etc would have been a bit better.

According to Evo Magazine it is likely that it uses a modified Gallardo platform and running gear.

On a worse note they also say that a Lamborghini SUV is in the pipeline, but it will be a Touareg with a new front and back end, the platform and bodyshell will not be redesigned...
    Thanks for all the fish

At the end of the day, a Lamborghini SUV seems inevitable. It will make the company a lot of money (so says the theory) which will help them to make better 'supercars' in the end. I do hope Lamborghini bring something similar looking to this Miura concept out and into production. Lamborghini currently has much better designs than Ferrari. With something like this, they'll completely thrash Ferrari in car design.
On a Good day, Chris Bangle designs the Fiat Coupe.
On a Bad day, he designs a BMW.

I take that back. There was ONE Targa Miura that was a tuner car. As for the Spyder, it resides in Japan, and not even replicas were produced.
