    Ford RS200 Evo with F1 turbo/mag review

I thought some of you here might like this, a swedish RS200 Evo with an F1 turbo. On the top of it all, it's street legal. With a smaller turbo and lower boost (1,9 bar) it gave 630 bhp on the dyno. Haven't been tested after the turbo change and upgraded boost to 2,2 bar.

If there is any demand for it, I can do a translation of the review.

Awesome... this is my favourite rally car, out of all of them!

P.S. Any chance of a translation?

Intrigued to see what they said about the so-called "F1-turbo" as it is going to struggle not to be laggy and lumpy wiht bigger injectors.

WHAT is this "F1-turbo" anyway ? Sounds like chavs have spread to Scandinavia

Haven't got much info on it, it's a Garrett and the owner of the car bought two of them when turbocharging was banned in F1.

He'd be better off getting a modern turbo from Garret than trying to use old F1 technology.
Turbo design, bearings and materials have come on a long way in 17 years !!!!

Yeah, probebly. Maybe he see something in using it as it's from the era? I don't know really, haven't heard much of this car for quite a while.
