    2 Kids killed on dakar

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news again but

    yesterday (the 13th)

This morning at 10:00 AM, at km 25 of the special of stage 13 of the rally between LABE and TAMBACOUNDA, just 6kms before the village of Kourahoye, a young boy that had come with his family to see the rally go by, was hit by vehicle n°420 of the car class while crossing the track.

The boy later died in a medical helicopter

    today (14th)
On this itinerary used by the assistance vehicles between Tambacounda and Dakar, at Km 200, an accident involving an assistance truck cost the life of a 12-year-old boy.
Cedric - I sound like a chipmunk on there. Some friends of mine were like, "were you going through puberty?" I was like, no I was already 20, I just sound like a girl.

Very sad. A similar thread on the subject had some people sympathizing, discussing...

The Paris-Dakar is a very dangerous event, I'm surprised that more aren't seriously hurt or die.

EDIT: Actually a couple of others:
