Yep i also got a new camera so i thought i would post some pics
Its a Ricoh R2. Not the best but compact and good for just takong some snaps. I does have a great macro mode on it though as seen in picture 1

just to tell you, macro is not for up close focus, its for maintaning close focus with something in the background out of focus

you do that by using a larger aperature, eg f2.8 rather than f5.6

i know but i mean just using it to take a picture up close with nothing the the bachkgroung wont do anything the whole point of macro is to have a shallow depth of field
