    The 'cuda deserved big money, there were only 14 built yes and its the only Vitamin C orange one built. 2,000,000 is alittle high but consider that the 1971 Hemi 'cuda convertables don't pass hands for less than 3,500,000. One recently sold for 5,000,000.

    My thoughts exactly, Anyone know what this car originally sold for $ 8 - 10K?
    It's just a Dodge! This whole Hemi thing has gotten out of hand....

    if i was paying 2 million for a car i would at least want it to look hot... this is an ugly car no denying it, the best cars to come out of america were the hot rods from the 30's and 40's, those customs that were dripping chrome and gorgeous with their hand beaten designs, arch filling rims, smooth as cut lines etc

    this however is a lazy design built in an era where straight line performance was everything and going around corners was, well, an afterthought...

    but hey that is just my humble opinion, i have never driven one so i can't say that i have ever driven one, but judging by the looks alone i wouldn't want too...

    (some bogan, over-weight american cretin who sips his pennzoil out of the drum and proudly smashes the back out of his mother on any day of the week is going to flame me for this coz i just mocked his "favouritist car in the big 'ole world" but that is tough coz i don't like this car...)

    Yeah but the MC12 is a million dollar supercar...They build 25 because not that many people have that much money...(among other reasons)

    The muscle car isnt that unreachable for people...so I wouldve thought they would build more.
    They built more Camaros and Mustangs...so why so limited with this?

    There were 6 (i think don't remember off the top of my head) different motors/packages for the Challenger in 1970, the MC12 has no options, except paint etc and cup holders.

    The Hemis back in the 70's were the fastest stock motors, but it was much easier to pump up a 440 than a 426 hemi.

    I think you are getting confused between total production number, and number of cars optioned like the one that was sold.

    That explains a lot of it.
    Still...

    So, just because not many people opted to have a certain configuration of options...the car gains another $2,000,000 on what it was originally worth?

    um.. some idiot spent $35 grand on a grand national that sells for 3,000 on ebay.
    I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

    Guys let me remind you, realize this, you are comparing a highly tuned racing machine against a muscle car. There's no comparision. Especially between a 250 GTO and a Hemi Cuda. One is a homologation racer and the other is a redneck's dream. It's like comparing a Fighter Plane and a Yugo. Besides Viper007, as cool and tough as the Cuda is, have you ever seen or heard a 60's Ferrari? They make the meanest sound of any car of that era besides maybe a GT40. If a Ferrari Revved it's engine next to a Cuda, the Cuda would probably pee its pants, there's no comparison.
    NASCAR = REDNECK
