I don't understand why so many non-americans accuse Americans of being ignorant and stupid. Correct me if im wrong but back in the 19th century weren't the people of the World comming to America for a better life.
Hitler said that he feared the U.S.A. because of how strong it was, not its military power, but of how strong its people were, the ambitious and outgoing farm boys of Europe left to go to the new world thus leaving the 2nd class citizens behind.

Most of the worlds hates America because we are strong and powerful and their is no one left to challenge us. Russia has triped and can't get up and China is just a shadow of a threat.
American cars were far better than any other country's cars in the 60s-early70s.

Now we have fallen behind.
Germany does have the Autobann, which has less deaths per mile than the U.S.A. interstate system.

If they 'pwn' us (ZOMG!) that means nukes. If we were nuked by China and Russia, US nukes would be well on their way to 'pwn'ing China and Russia as well.
Neither Russia nor China has the infantry/navy/air force to slip through American technology via the Pacific. Their only chance for 'T0T47 PWN463' would be nuclear missiles.
America can 'pwn' anyone else just as much as China or Russia can.

I think the problem comes with having such a large population. With alot more people comes alot more idiots.

The reason America is selfish is because we're capitalist. Karl Marx was absolutely right. Capitalism is the source of selfishness, greed and overall lowered morals;however capitalism is the freest and safest society for a high population state.
Mind you, our (the US, that is) capitalist society is arguably the best in the world. The US, with the exception of most Western European countries, is the only country where you can do whatever you want so long as it doesn't injure your neighbor. Can you buy acres of farmland in Japan and start your own agricultural company? Can you wear what you want in Pakistan? Can you live in the Congo without being shot/arrested? Now those are just examples of extremes, but plenty of countries around the world have minor repressions that would certainly upset a citizen used to 'total' capitalist freedom. The countries with repression of this kind also tend to have higher morals. China, a communist society (not really communism, true communism has never existed, and China is more capitalist in recent years) and India both have the highest world populations and a very fine moral code, however these are also two countries with harsh gov't and repression of thought.
The US has luxuries, and since we have luxuries we are bound to take them for granted. But, by God, I smile each morning remembering how lucky I am to be born into one of, if not the, freest, safest, and hence greatest country on Earth.

Us westerners though, being the way we are generally dont give a crap about the little man breaking his back to live, as can be the case in India and China though. I hadnt thought about it the way youve put it however, but i dont think any one country can lay claim to being the greatest country in the world, as our imperfections bring us down equally.

I'm not calling America to be greatest, but definitely one of, because we are almost completely free. I call any nation that allows its citizens to be content and free while still defending themselves efficiently the greatest country on Earth. The UK, Australia, France, Canada....

The people going to amrica were usually the lower class farmers who had no outlook on a better life and an own farm. Your army might be strong,but it is killing your country in the meanwhile,with as result bankruptcy of the state within 10 years time.(kinda dumb,aint it )
European cars and American cars from the 60's and early 70's were designed completely different.You cannot compare them at all. If you would have to, europan cars,were beter built(mostly),better designed etcetera.

The Ford GT was a design from some english dudes.Ford had it designed by the Lola company because they could not do it themselves You have fallen behind because of all the stubbornes Germany h th autobahn,but europe is superior in many more things For example we dont have a dictatorship,but a REAL democracatic government in every single country.The USA cant even create a democracy in their own country

We have lower crime rates,lower number of imprisonments/100 people. a couple of years ago,our crime nmbers were 50% of yours/100 people and imprisonments too. A tiny number of people is locked up by misake,and they get compensation.in th usa they dont get nothing.

We have a social insurance system for everyone.You pay xxx a month to the government,and when you get in hospital almost anything is paid for.When you lose your job,you get money each month. For everyone !!!
