    Favorite James Bond Automobile

What is your favorite automobile used in one of the James Bond films?
Name your car and the movie it was in.
    Pics are cool too.

    I have two favorites (I'm greddy )

The Classic Bentley (From Russia With Love); and
The Aston Martin Vanquish (Die Another Day) which "is fitted with the latest weaponry including machine-guns and missile launchers. One of 500 hand-assembled but unarmed copies of this car can be yours, should you have the $345,000 price of admission."

ASton DB5, Vanquish etc etc. Yep beautiful.

But my favourite is the Esprit in

    and out of water

in The Spy Who Loved Me.

Local museum has all the Bond cars, including the 2CV and Renault taxi

They found the underwater shell that was actually used in the movie rotting on an island in the Caribean and it's on display. It had just been left behind when they finished filming

It's another museum opened by the same guy.
I've had talks with them about them keeping my Alpine ( it was main feature in TV series in UK ) when I'm not using it.

They've more cars than they can reasonably find space.
Edinburgh airport site was a cheap place for them to store more cars.
Allowing people in to see it is icing on their cake.
They make thir money out of people hiring and using cars for promos.
The Batmobile is currently at Edinburgh.
NO ONE is allowed to take photos inside the car.
A rule from the film-makers they guy said.
He stores the car and whenever they want it he has to make it available.
Currently they've got all the Bond cars in the collection there just now.
As well as the Indiiana Jones truck and motrobike/sidecar.
    and the Trotters van

If you're stuck at Edinburgh Airport it's certainly more interesting than reading the car magazines in W.H.Smiths

    What a great topic.....

I'd call it a tie between the DB5 from From Russia With Love and Goldfinger, and the submersible Lotus from The Spy Who Loved Me.

Honorable Mention goes to the two AMC's in The Man With The Golden Gun (the '74 Matador driven by the villain that sprouted wings and flew, and the '74 Hornet that Bond did the Spiral Jump over the river with.)

    Vanquish

the vanquish is the best car ever used in a bond movie.'die another day is the only james bond movie that i have seen. i never got aroung to see any other parts. the second best car would be the silver 7 series used in a previous movie. i read that they drove the 7 series from the 3rd floor of a perking on to a shop. the total damage cost was around $100,000. 2 weeks ago there was an old bond movie coming on tv. i dont remeber its name but it starred sean connery. the car was a classic with a bulletproof shield that pops out from the trunk to protect the rear windsheild. my dad didnt let me watch coz i had to study for exams.
