I'm no expert, but I'd have to agree and say that all Chinese cars are in fact much of a muchness.

Well it depends on how you define the word "best"

Different criteria determine different winners I guess....

That's what people thought about Japanese cars in the late '70s.

This doesn't necessarily mean that Chinese cars will be as successful as Japanese ones. But, one must not be sarcastic. I agree that today's models are uncompetitive, but this doesn't mean that future ones will be as well.

It's again just a derogatory term used by "Patriots" who buy Chevys and fords, without realising they're all made in Canada or Mexico.

Toyota and Honda make more cars in the US that GM or Ford.

As for chinese cars, Hongqi has got to be up there.

I have to say I'm not that familiar with these line ups... If you have pictures and/or information please post. Then we can make our totally pointless and subjective judgements with no truth basis.

    and welcome to UCP!

wow thats the most rediculous statement ive heard all year...care to explain to me which models are made in mexico and canada and then imported to the US? im nto saying the us makes the best cars cuz i dont think they do...but what you said was plain retarded and i also gaurrentee any american car is nicer than any chinese car in the same class..sure maybe the chinese car can be had for much less money but the materials in the car will be cheaper, build quality will be cheaper, and when your payin the people who make em the rediculously low wages their paid you can afford to sell cars that cheap. im willing to give chinese cars a chance if they ever become worthwile but as for now...no way.
