1991 Honda Accord LX - Power Locks won't work

The car has been great for 9 years. Then the power locks stopped working. Then all of a sudden (a few days later) they were working again. Then a few days later they stopped working for good. I thought a fuse might be the problem but it wasn't, the fuse was fine. I have the chilton's repair manual but it is vague on this subject. As far as I can tell there is no relay for this system. Just the switches, accuators, fuse and wiring.

Giving the symptoms ie working then not working then working again and now not working for good. Does anyone:

Have a clue what I should check.

since all four locks went at once it seems unlikely that it is the components in the individual doors them selves. Perhaps the driver door has a central role in this and I should look in there. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Probably a loose contact in the switches or on the motor. Take the door panels off and take a look. I fixed my locks by soldering the connections back on. And then the stereo installers f*cked it up again...grrrrr...
An it harm none, do as ye will

I appreciate the last answer here by jcp123. The two before were not just merely a waste of time, but were a common agent for destroying useful dialogue in a world where solutions to problems are important.

The problem the originator of this post had I now have and then some, but it took a delay for me to get to an answer that was to mine and all the other readers' interests.
