Of course it will break the record. The Veyron's aero was terrible, see (gordon murphy?) the mclaren f1 designers article in road and track. Koen will embarass bugatti easily, not too mention that the veyron's over two tons...

its gordon murray and the veyron weighs under 2 tonnes 1900kg
but i see your point, although at those speeds you'd either want some wieght or a lot of downforce to keep you stable...

actually the figure is closer to 2100kgs for the Veyron, the quoted weight of 1888kgs is the dry weight of it, therefore there is no fluids in it...

at full weight (without passengers) it has an extra 100 litres of fuel, 40 litres of water for engine cooling, 15 litres of water for the twin chargecooler circuit, 20 litres of engine oil, a further 22 litres for the gearbox and another 15 litres for the hydraulics, brakes etc

it was over 200kgs heavier than that final figure before they sent it to weight watchers, from whence it came back lighter, but still a fatty...

i think that koen will be faster and will break veryron's record because of its bad aerodynamics that cannot handle 400km/h???????

Does anyone have those blueprints in the 4th pic in higher resolution? I might have a shot at modelling it in 3D if anyone does.
