Well, you can obviously see that I'm not Matra, but I have to say u ruined the car rather than made it better. Sorry, but that's just my opinion. However, the Carrera GT looks amazin! Oh well, we can't get it right 100% of the time, right?

Yes, the Matra has not improved. Furthermore this is actually the unique U8 Matra, that doesn't deserve to be tampered with.

It's a brave man who takes a unique car and chops it.
BUt, it's not the way I'd go with it
    As a 70s car, I'd add 70's style bodykits
( You've stolen some thunder too. If - BIG if - I win the chop competition the Bagheera was one of the cars I was going to offer for the next competition )

You're changes make it look to much like a 70s Ferrari.
It would have been nice to have seen what could have been done and retained it's "Frenchness"

    Check out the Grp4 A310s ( I've already posted A110 GrpIvs elsewhere )

Be fair, I would sell the 2 current Bagheeras.
After all the U8 *IS* two 1442 engines in the same body

You might want to keep them for spare parts, although I presume that the U8 has different traverse dicks.

I'll be able to manage for a while on a credit basis.

(Just lost my exhaust this morning after 180,000 km's, sounds very interesting)

    More 310 pics posted already.
As tiem permits, I'll be posting the best of my collectino on Matra and Alpine cars over the next week.

    It's in the lines.
They flow .... with a "feminine" curve.
Compare with a Ferrari or Lamborghini, Italian cars tend to be more masculine.
I'll look out pics I've got of Zagato stylings done on Matra and Alpine bodies and the difference in look is clear
