    Better than Corvette C6 Z06?

Is there any car out there, at the corvett z06 price (like $60 right??) that's actually better than it in terms of performance?

you mean at least $200k right? because thats how much the Z06 would cost if GM bothered to convert it to RHD and make it meet international emissions laws in order to sell it overseas, like ferrari and porsche.

    I live in America.

That being said, the TVR and Noble would be more expensive wouldn't they? And is it even legal here to have cars with the wheel on the right? hehe no clue.

    ????

Why wouldn't it be legal to have a right hand drive car in America???

You can get a Noble for 40k new, the Sagaris Costs 45K new so what are you on about???

Well, in the UK at least, the Z06 is approx £60,000 ($105,000), and a TVR/ Noble is usu. c. £45-50,000 depending on model.

I know that the Vette is more expensive over here because Chevy are money grabbing bastards.

    A Noble is $60 - 68,000 less engine + transaxle in the USA, complete $80 - 95,000.

Still, if you consider how much better of a driver's car the Noble is, it's still a bargain.

And I suppose if you compare a Corvette in the UK, against a Noble in the USA, it is cheaper...

In its recent test Auto Motor und Sport concluded that the Z06 has the best value for money....and that for Germans...

is that really why ferraris are so expensive here? i mean i know they'll be expensive anywhere you go...but how much do they cost in say, Italy or the UK? i.e. $100,000 for a 360 there as opposed to the $160,000 America has to pay?

OK, TVR's arent legal here at all, right hand drive IS legal but you need a permit and in EVO magazine they did this test with a ZO6 and exige cup 240 an M400 and a used GT3 and they said only the GT3 beat the vette but its still amazing for its price

Bang for the Buck, the Corvette wins. So on paper it's a great stat to brag about. On the street or on the track no one's going to ask your MSRP. And when it comes to desirability, clearly people spend their money on cars that are built to a higher standards. I see a lot of Boxster S, whereas most of the 'vettes on the street are the more basic models (not the Z06). Also, you won't hear a Ferrari owner bragging about how cheap he got his car.

For me, the Z06 is stuck in the middle, at sixty grand not exactly a cheap muscle car that can brag about 300+ Hp for under $30K and not expensive enough to compete against the high-quality cars. When it comes to cheap speed, the EVO and STI seem the obvious answer; they're actually cheap...

Prices in Holland in Euro, (one Euro equals 1.20 US$)
    Z06: 114950
    F430: 194679
    AstonV8 146700
    Carrera4S: 136944

It is the cheap dollar that helps to keep prices low for the Corvette, but it is still a bargain. (although the absolute levels are "slightly" higher than in the USA)
