    TOTALLY EXCELLENT! news

ok, so im strolling home today from school, i decide ill choose this time to do my daily call of the mechanic i need to talk to (to get the contact info for the guy who owns my prospective car) so i call, and instead of hear "this is _____ leave your name number blah blah" i hear "...hello?" so anyway after about 15 minutes of us talking about the carand how he loved it and regrets selling it, how my dad did an excellent job rebuilding the engine (this guys is a mechanic who owns an exotic dealership so it does hold some weight) etc. he says he'll give my number and name to the guy who currently owns it when he goes up there soon

so to sum up, im facing the very real possibility of getting a car in the next 6 months, and as everyone will be glad to hear, this is my LAST, yes LAST first car thread

sorry im just really excited to think after all this i might actually finally be getting a car

edit: yeah a 1969 Porsche 911T, it was my dads for almost 20 years, then he sold it, it changed hands 3 more times, and i finally (the guy was moving and his phone wasnt fully operational) got a hold of the last contact in a trail of people i need to talk to to re-acquire the car, he is going to give my name/number to the current owner

    and welcome to UCP klemmel

That's good to hear Colin. I wish you the best of luck, I hope the current owner is interested in selling it to you. If not, take a look at http://www.dupontregistry.com and look at all the 911s they have for sale. Victory Motorcars advertises a lot of new and older 911s and are based in Houston! Drop by and see if they have a car that's within your budget.

Thanks! Porsches are amazing My dad and I were restoring a 912, but now I have moved... It's nice to drive, but doesn't have the sweet six-sylinder-sound
