This thread is such a joke. I'm near deleting it just to put the rest of us out of our misery.

Not picking on you but why is it the policy of this forum to just delete threads ? I would definately prefer just locked threads. Locked threads set an example. Deleting threads=pretending like it never happend. Or even censorship in some cases. I've seen it before that some threads just disappear without any reason given as to why.

    But meh.

Matt's only joking ( I think ) . Personally this thread is great from one of two reasons.

1.When a-h finally admits to being 9 year old we can all come here and laugh !
    or
    2. When a-h finally proves his car ownership and HE can come here and laugh

    I'm taking bets

The vast majority of our deletions are duplicate threads or spam. If there is a heated discussion that turns ugly, locking the thread doesn't stop the discussion from being continued by members who come in later and read it. There have been multiple times where a thread has been locked or deleted and we get a second thread made asking about the first thread or continuing the discussion or bickering. In my opinion, it's much better to just rid the forums of the bad threads rather than let them sit there and fester. For instance, a lot of the old threads that turned into Karmann-bashing were deleted for good reason. Even if locked, those threads would have been referenced or linked to later on to make more fun of Karrmann. Sure, you might think it's censorship, but this isn't a democracy. We can, and will, censor posts/actions we find inappropriate.

    Si senor.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.
