    Paper/card models

I've collected these from various places along the way.

A gift from me, hopefully one you want to build is here.
Everyone has to build the A110 ( and send me $10 by paypal )
and to keep henk4 happy the 2CV too !!

If you have or know of any other sources for car models please let me know.

Has anyone tried to design one from scratch ?
i'm thinking about trying to do the A610 or the Bagheera
You probably guessed that, huh !!

I'll bribe with one rep point the first person to get them all built and a photo of ALL of them posted back up here.

BTW, this is only the first 4.
    I'll upload more later.

    Kept the "oddballs" for last.

Hope you have fun building them..
Even better use Photoshop/paint to make your own colour schemes and wheels for that custom-look

Lambo in red - this is a test of new pdf support too. Message me if it fails for you.

    Matra,

Can you post some pics of the finished models? They look interesting.

    Thanks.

    Sadly no.
I built some of these with my kids ( in the hope of them catching the modelling bug )
They didn't survive - the models, the kids are still with me !!!
If you do a web searhc for "car paper model" you can find enthusiasts who have built these and many more, with pictures.
Better still, build one - it only costs a sheet of paper, some ink and glue !!!

PS: Here's the photo from the Lambo.

    The site is http://www.ne.jp/asahi/paper-m/yasu

hehe i almost ruined my printer by putting a thick peice of card in there anyway, i have built three so far; the GT40, the 911, and the Alpine A110. do you have the template for the lambo? or is it in the PDF?

I've found normal photocopy paper is fine for a fast build.
If you want to keep it, then you need to put it on heavier paper otherwise the wheels fold over time
All my printers are HP ( used to work there ) and the paper path on them all has a tight turn, so I can't even THINK about really heavy card.
I know some guys stick the printout of key parts ( like the wheels/tyres ) onto mounting board available from art shops.

Yep, the Lambo is in the two pdfs.
You likely need to d/l adobe reader if you don't have it already on your system.
MIME should make it load in your IE window if you click on it.

No, searched the sites I have and it's not on any of them.

looks like your only option would be to pay the 210 yen on that page OR 5800 yen for the guys CD of all the cars. Looks like this oen isn't doing the rounds on the 'free' sites

    sorry
