Yep i see them also and think it's a tosser badge on another make, It was popular with the old cars when they actually fit chev engines themselves not factory ones. I don't like it i think what it's badge is that's it even if it's a Toyota lexcen.

Have posted this in the racing forum as well, but thought it also deserved to go here....

The ABC program 'Australian Story' last night aired an episode on Craig Lowndes. Brings a tear to the eye in places as it explores Craig's relationship with Peter Brock. The program can be watched here

    http://www.abc.net.au/austory/

    From the Australian Story website...

Craig Lowndes is motor racing’s young triple crown champion. His trademark has been his wide winning smile and easy-going nature. But rivals insist that the smile masks a tough, fearless and competitive nature.

Lowndes is the first driver to win the Australian Touring Car Championship on debut, the youngest ever winner and the only driver apart from Peter Brock to win the Triple Crown of Australian Motor Sport - the Australian Touring Car championship, the Sandown 500 and the Bathurst 1000 - in the one year.

Lowndes inherited a passion for fast cars. His father, Frank, was in Brock’s Holden Dealer team, when he won his first Bathurst in 1972 - two years before Craig was born. Lowndes and Brock had a relationship that was complex but close.

Australian Story went behind the scenes with Lowndes during the final tumultuous months of his roller coaster 2006 season.

The program also documents his meteoric rise through the ranks of Australian Motor Sport and the relationship that developed with the Brock family along the way.

It explores his emotional reaction to the death of mentor Peter Brock, the loss of the V8 championship under controversial circumstances and the reasons for his clash with the sport’s administrators.
