why dont they build a new chassis, seems stupid to gut a perfectly good enzo to build a new car, which will probably be jaw dropping sexy

why throw away the multi-millions spent in chassis design? It may sound silly to buy a $1mil car, then strip it, but instead consider it a $1mil investment into millions in development costs, let alone the time spent.

i meant build a new enzo chassis and register it as a kit car.

Im not sure i like that one... it has some nice bits but the overall does not work in my opinion.

What gave you that impression?

The Enzo is totally street legal in North America. There are examples all over the continent. North America has probably been Ferrari's largest market for the car.

It comes in under some licence which is used for Kit Cars, so they don't have to be tested.

Plus, with the recent spate of Enzo Crashes, all drivers of which managed to survive, you'd think they were a fairly safe vehicle.
