It seems your family is a loyal Renault customer (I remember you posting a Laguna) Do you mind telling me which engine it is equipped with? thanx. Comparing it with the other pictures, I assume that this is the Grand Scenic. I wish we would get mini mini-vans in the US. All we have is the Mazda 5.

My mother working at Renault, it couldn't be otherwise. It has got the new 2.0 dCi engine, which produces 150hp @ 4000 rpm. It's a Grand Scénic Privilège, in its 5 seats version (it can also be ordered with 7 seats).

I was always under the impression that that's how they're regarded over here. Maybe mini perhaps isn't quite the right word, but they (they being the Scenic, Picasso, C-max, Touran etc.) are categorised as being a size under the Espace, Galaxy, 807, Sharan, etc. I'm not actually sure what the correct designation for the class is though. I just thought it was mini-MPVs.
