Dani California - Red Hot Chili Peppers

The new album is soon due for release, and the new single has already been released! Its a ripper of a song, very creative, great lyrics, and personally, its a great first single, not thier best, but a terrific song nevertheless. The album, Stadium Arcadium is a double CD album, containing 25 songs, if you looked hard enough, 6 or 7 of those songs are available to download already, but only live versions.

So here it is, the video clip to thier first video.

    hmm... listening to it now...

it's pretty good, however, much of their recordings sound fairly similar to each other.. but theres a bit of beatles influence in this song... a bit more poppish than some of their other stuff... but well, it is a single....

red hot chilli pepper music always makes me want to commit suicide.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

    Like it.

Guess the vid really only works for old-farts who've been around the music scene long enough to see all the tributes

I think the video is funny, but cool.. with like 10 'remakes' of old groups/popstars. Hell, even Prince was featured in the beginning.

Yeah that video was pretty damn funny, got most of em, wasnt really concentrating on the song too much but yeah it sounds a little more poppy than the others. I'll get used to it...

I have to say, though, Californication is their best album imo.

I doubt that this is their final album, they are still a very good, and very strong live band, albiet alot more entertaining than the likes of U2, the latter of the two mentioned by the way, their Live Aid (8) performance was shocking, really shows bono's age. Personally, I think this well be a good contender for thier best. All the members say it is something special and it tells a story, much like The Who's story bout the pinball wizard, lol but im not expecting a west end musical

Haha the vid is great, im into old school so i knew most of them first off the bat, though some are harder to pick up, eats all over pink's impersonation music clip.
