I believe that's a reflector, and not a brake light. My Mazda 3 has a reflector there as well.

That looks amazingly similar to the design that appeared in Autokampioen magazine two years ago

I love the front cause it looks like the concept.
I hate the rear cause it doesn't.

Am I the only one who actually likes the original better than the new one?
I'm going to eat breakfast. And then I'm going to change the world.

How long before they have to stick a rear spoiler on it again?

EDIT; It's a popup. so right at launch then

This is actually a REALLY nice looking car. hopefully it actually drives this time.

I’m still not convinced that I like this new one.
But I never was a fan of the original TT, it just looks like a beat up volkswagen beetle.

The first one was a design innovation, and it looked like nothing else. This one isn't. So I'm with you. Anyway what I didn't like in the original TT, was the fact that dinamicaly it didn't match the looks. It was a car for those who like to show off, but are happy with the dinamics of a Golf.

I have always found the looks of the car horrible, it just looked like a flat-ironed new beetle...so it is not really an original design...

The story about the all-new, 2006 Audi TT:

One day 5 german engineers were in a bar, trying to create a new TT. One of them suggested just ironing a Beetle with stolen parts from other cars. Nobody laughed.
