    Lockdown=no School

    haha guys just sharing the news. At the intersection in front of my school there were two people with guns. They called in the ETF (emergency task force) basically the canadian version of swat. I was taking the bus and they had the road blacked off two blocks in every direction of the school and told us to go home. That means thx to Holy Week it's a 5 day break The cops apparently shot and killed one of the gunmen while the other was taken into custody..not exaclty sure about that but I'll see if i can find the clip online and i'll attach it..

    EDIT: Here it is.. http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/Con...l=968793972154

    No handguns are not fully legal, you need a liscense which is tough to get, but apparently there have been a lot coming up here from the US recently so gun control is becoming an issue..

    PS: anyone know how to edit the name of a link..

    Lucky you that you miss school but it's for a very unfortunate reason.

    There once was a police shooting in my street, one cop got killed and one injured. The next day there was an invasion of police in order to search the weapon... That was actually quite cool

    There was one like this yesterday or was it today in Surrey BC. A millionaires son was kidnapped. The neighbourhood where he got kidnapped was closed yesterday morning and swat team members were running all around the place. 200 swat team members saved him and 6 have been arrested so far. More to come because others are linked to it.

    Sounds like the sort of thing I'd sleep through, apparently there was a huge fight/small riot right outside my house, and ALOT of police turned up to disperse it. I don't know if it was a joke though, I was asleep at the time.
