Which car is best for bumpy roads?

im living in Pakistan currently & like most developing countries, the roads here are just terrible. there are ditches, open manholes, bumps, high speed breakers etc.
this made me wonder which sportscar(s) would be best for these roads. im not talking about racing on bumpy roads, just driving. i also know that certain sportscars & most supercars are too low & not suited for these kinds of roads. so im asking you guys if you know any sportscars which will be best for these roads.

Your best bet would probably be a good hot hatch, a Golf GTI or something. Good suspension travel, practical, should cope fine with crappy roads. Or to go further, an Impreza/Lancer Evo, designed for crappy roads.

I agree, if the roads are crappy (aka not paved), stick to something with awd, like a GTI, Evo, or STI, those would be your best bet.

GTI isn't awd, but it does have the whole normal suspension thing going for it, so it should cope with rough roads.

A Forester XT would be a good choice, AWD, plenty of ground clearance, off-roadish tyres stock, and plenty of room for modding with the 2.5 Turbo engine

get a hydropneumatic Citroen, it is not sporty but can generally deal with speedbumps and potholes much more confortably than any steel sprung car.

I'll second that...the 2.5's around a 6 second 0-60 with a manual transmission as well. I've been in an (old model) S Turbo auto and even that seemed very quick.

I'd also take any Subaru or an Evolution. Their cars are rally inspired. Enough said. The Citroens are rally inspired too but aren't their cars FWD? It doesn't really help in dirt.
