You should have put the camera on the ground and selected a long exposure like one or two seconds, without flash of course, and the pics quality would have been much better.

I was on Robson street earlier today, although I didn't see anything too cool other than a couple of RUFs and a '69 Challenger. Still haven't seen an Elise on the streets!

Wow Ive seen several Elises on the streets in Vancouver. Almost everytime I go downtown I see one. (which is like 1-2 times every month) Ive seen that Yellow Elise parked on Robson twice!

I think that that would have been really hard to do. Robson on a Fri/Sat night is super busy, and no one gives a crap if you are taking car pictures. But I do understand your advice, and I'll try it next time. Besides, I just got my wee camera, and I am babying it.
