    6 billion humans on this planet, powerful money-lobby driven by industrialists, governments trying to take desicions in 'national interest' and then, rampant degradation of the wilds.

    And then how do you stop worldwide CO2 emmisions? Are you going to snatch a 5000lb 8-litre SUV from someone
    or stop a African bushman from trying to cook his food?

    It's called taxation , sunk.
    Make the users of pay more heavily the more they use.
    Make the funds available to assist the emerging nations to avoid the huge "creation of shit" cycle we went through.
    The higher taxes will make most folks move to more efficient vehicles or alternatives.
    ah wait, "tax" is a four letter word to some leaders
    Yeah, getting a party into power or saving a planet, we know where most politicians ahve their heads on THAT one
    Shame nearly everyone BUT the most powerful on teh planet thought Kyoto was a reasonable satart along the path.......
