I prefer longer classes because you can get more done in them.

If you've organised you're schedule right, you shouldn't have any boring classes to have to endure, either.

Problem with 90 minute classes is that it's very easy to loose the student's attention.

No teen wants to be lectured for even 45 minutes on something.

If you're in a practical class it's better because you can get more work done, rather than 10 minutes of work and 30 minutes of clean up.

I concur than 90 Minute lectures aren't fun, but at Uni my sister is putting up with 180 Minute lectures, so I think 90 minutes is a good intro into that work.

I had Geometry, English, Physics, and PE for my 90 minute classes. Maybe if I had art, it'd be better since PE was the only fun one.

God my schedule is a piece of cake compared to you guys!

All periods are 45 minutes, and we have about 5 mins more or less to get between classes. This is a bit rough but you get the picture.

Group Class, which is notices, etc (8:45 till 8:55)
Period one (9:00 till 9:55)
Period two (9:55 till 10:55)
Interval (10:55 till 11:15ish)
Period three (11:15 till 12:15)
Period four (12:15 till 1:10)
Lunch (1:10 till 2:00
Reading (I've got an awesome group teacher so that can be txting, talking, etc) 2:00 till about 2:25
Period 5 2:25 till 3:20

If you really did mean 5 paragaphs ZB, you must be 10 years or younger...

no it was 5 pages for a book for a magazine article it was 5 paragraphs. but whatever. today really sucked there were 5 or 6 other people and the only words i said the whole day were: do i have any more work?. but i worked slowly so i wouldnt have to read and write and it worked out perfect, finished my work exactly at 1:30 (when we hand it all in). the only bs about it was that my history teacher sorta overloaded but no problem. math underloaded, i took a film class the first semester and now its a speech class so for that i had to read a theater book (not interested in theater at all) and write a 2 page essay on it. at least he didnt want 5 pages. lets see. thats pretty much it. no lunch, no breaks, no talking, and no complaning about our fatass school cop listening to country music the whole time either

my shedule is

7:20 - Speech (red 90 min) (bio - black 90 min)
9:00 - SAP (student assistance period, pretty much free unless your failing n you can do prettymuch anything unless your in AIA)
9:35 - Math (team taught, every day 45 min)

now it breaks up

Red day
10:20 Lunch
11 History
12:40 English

2:10 HOME!

Black day
10:20 Gym/PE/Health(end of first semester)
12:00 lunch
12:40 Spanish
2:10 Home

Suspension Pwns. RA is the best though which is reassigned alternative school where they put you for 3 weeks if you get in a fight or anything of that nature. You basically sit there in a cubicle and do all you work, when your finished you can do w/e you want on the computer. I like it better than regular school.

Yeah you even get out a like 2 hours earlier than the people in regular school. I dont even see how it's punishment... More beneficial really.

yhea, if we could talk n shit i wouldnt mind having this on fridays. just with differnt people. my weekends totally stress free. exept for work. i umpire VGSL. it pays 30 dollars a game (15 an hour). better than any of my friends. so thats coming closer to my 360 fund
