    R32 Thread

    Hi,
My Favourite car is the VW Golf R32 (03)
    What do other people think?
do you prefer this model or the new 06 R32?
the 03 model kicks out 237BHP while also boasting a 0-60 time of 6.4!
    what a rude-boy!

I didn't like the old one too much due to the boring shape of the gen 5 golf...

But I like the new one..alot! Seen one a few weeks ago, looked a real mean beats, and I also love the new shape Golf...Love the two exhauts in the middle and the noise the kick out..great car.

i saw the new R32 outside my village pub. im not too keen on the new wheels, probably because i love the old ones so much!
for some reason there are always awesome cars there, (DB9's and stuff).
I found a really good picture on google images. The rest of the pictures don't seem to load up to full size so i can save them on my pc.
Anyway this is one of the best pics of one i have seen, so enjoy!

If you want pics, just go look in the hide-out. Search the hide out for R32 and you'll get links to both new and old.

My S2 does it in 5.7 with a litre less to play with
lol just kidding with ya, it's let down by the large body and the amount of weight it has to lug around. The 3.2 TT does 0-60 in about 5.7, but I'm not sure if the engine in the R32 is detuned at all. I don't think it is IIRC.

i just looked in a very old evo (August 2003) and the only two hot hatchs that is heavier are the BMW 325ti Compact (1480kg) and the Audi A3 3.2 quattro (1495kg). there still both great cars, (the R32 and the A3 i mean, lol. im not keen on the 325)
