Decided to run one hot-lap in warmup with cold softs. The result? Fastest in warm-up. If it wasn't for my stupid qualy strat I would have done a bit better.

Now, speaking of qualifying, how the hell do you setup the damn thing?? Every time I position the sliders for the time and pace it slides them back to different positions according to in/out laps and pit times? Some help?

There must be 19 units of time between two laps in qualification. As it says after re-scheduling the laps, "This is to allow for in and out laps, time working in the pits/garage, etc.".

And I think there's no difference in lap times between cold and warm tires, they're fast when they're "green", then they're slower for a while and fast again in "light wear". At least that's how I've understood the logic in selecting tires.

Oh, so the 3 bars are all for one qualification session? Had no idea..

I thought each bar represented a different session. (Qualy stint: 1, Qualy stint: 2, Qualy stint: 3)

There's a small note displayed at least when you join a public F1 2006 game:

Im so cut after that race....i had 3rd in the bag!!! Debut podium!!

Everyone else mustve been on a 1 stopper though as i only noticed myself diving into the pits twice...

Either way, 10th isnt anything to cry about.

Only three drivers had 1 pit stop. The rest two or even three. You can check it at "Pit Duration" in the race statistics.
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Anyone here willing to give a hand at the UCP A1 GP game started. We need a few more drivers and I thought I could whore out the game to you guys. Right now it's suspended at the beginning so theres nothing to miss. So if your country is open, give it a shot. Details and web link can be found on the UCP - A1GP BATRacer thread.
