erm, i have atm an 80 Gb hdd and a (just discovered its burnt out!) 20 Gb one, but soon i shall have 2x 80 Gb's satas. 1 Gb of RAM (though i might invest in another 512 Mb if thats the bottleneck)
Without sounding odd, 9 Gb of RAM is a very odd number, and working at Microsoft wouldnt really affect that

I guess you're assuming that nobody falls in the 200-300 gigs range. I have 240Gb HDD.

What mobo ? You'd need >4 mem slots to achieve that -- and those are like hens teeth
Disk ? Main server has 600G, family machines have 200G each and video/"work" machine has 500G and families laptops(x3) are all 80G, work laptop is 40G. Damn, might power up one of the old HP Notebooks just to break the 2Tb barrier

20GB + 200GB in one, 6GB + 200GB in the other. No need for more at the moment.
Edit: what's the MB option in the poll, the chances for someone to have a one megabyte hard drive in use are quite small nowadays.
