    Visiting the Nürburgring

Next week I'm going for 5 days to Germany, to the Eiffel to be precise. So I wanna pay the famous Nürburgring a visit I was wondering what day is the best to go there? I can choose from thursday, friday or saterday. What things can you do around there? My dad won't allow me to take his car for a few laps around the Nordschleife sadly but there will be some nice cars around to spot On http://www.nuerburgring.de I found some info. There is a museum called "Erlebnis-Welt Nürburgring" also with a karting track. How is that? Can you get close to the track to see the cars driving around? I've heard that BMW and Aston Martin both have a test centre in the area, possible to visit them?

    Waiting for reply's...

One of them has a calendar, IMPORTANT to check --- you dont' want to turn aup and find it's a closed to public day

I know there are threads about it, but mostly just about the fastest lap times. The track is open all the 3 days from 08:00 - 19:30 so that's nice. I probably can't drive a lap around it so I wondered were are all the nice cars parked. Just near the entrance or on different places? Have anyone visited the Erlebnis-Welt? Is it like a museum with a lot of classic cars or more like a place full off crash and race simulators and stuff like that? The entrance is €11, so I want to be sure it's worthy.

If there already is a thread containing the answers to all my question, please post the link. My apologies in that case.

You can use the search button up top to look for things on UCP

This one' s a bit confusing as it is Nurburgring AND it's Nordschleife.
    Here's the 2006 calendar dates ... http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum...t=Nordschleife

I dont' have time to search through the results to find the other places we've provided links.

    You'll want this if you're driving http://www.nuerburgring.de/fileadmin...HinweiseNS.pdf
that site also has advance ticket information to save queuing.

buggar me they've gone and changed one of my favourite links it's now at http://20832.com/ LOTS of info on driving and staygin and watching

    nurburgring.org.uk should help you out
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
