It's a good car, with descent performance and a good tuner backing. You can't REALLY go wrong with buying one, but I would go for something else. (I just don't like the styling anymore)

    I'd say buy it though.

I agree with everyone above, go for it! You really can't go wrong with that car: decent performance, handling, character, and style. All for a very good price. I have to say if it were for me I wouldn't go with the aero kit. It's a bit too Fast and the Furious to my liking, and the car looks good enough without it.

I second that. It's a very nice looking car already without the aero kit on it...

BTW did I already mentioned you really need to grab this chance and make sure your dad buys this hot car?

Actually I like the aero kit, but that's just me. Yeah, it's a great car. I see a couple everyday on the way to school and I absolutely love it, especially when it zooms by. That VQ sounds great! I'd get it as well. Great choice.

I think it's a pretty ace looking car and a fairly good allrounder. The boot has a dirty great strut brace across it, if memory serves, which isn't ever so convenient I guess.

Would a new Mustang not be worth considering?

Just a thought, I don't really know a lot about the US market.

I'm not great with American prices, but have you also considered a mustang GT or a Pontiac GTO?

It's a good choice, a good compliment to more practical cars in your garage...

I think the Elise is a little too focused for some. A bit too small and snug.
