Some Toyotas do. New legislation passed to make cars safer for pedestrians now require an amount of crush space between the hood (bonnet) and engine. Also, small cars now seem to be built to accomodate drivers over eight feet tall, leading to grotesquely distended rooflines. Scion TC's and Toyota Corollas are especially capybara-esque here in America, and I'm wondering if the trend is continuing elsewhere.
