    Woah! Look!

    Crazyness!

I was out working today when my dad showed up to see how I was doing, he walks up and tells me to look up at the sky. So i do and see the craziest thing ever! This insane circle rainbow around the sun. It appeared to be about 5000 ft or so high and it was really colorful, like super vibrant colors. Anyways, i drove home 2 hrs later and it was still there..15 miles away and still directly above me. Unfortunately by the time i wipped out my camera it was starting to fade and wasnt as colorful, but it was still cool. And yeah i know, i couldnt get the entire circle in my view, it was massive!!!

    take a look see

It doesnt really matter if it's diffused, it can still hurt the sensor.

i figured the thick cloud would do the trick, and anyways i have that 4 year best buy warranty, whenever it breaks i just bring it back, say its blurry and i get a new one for free

it was one of those clouds where i was looking directly at the sun without sunglasses for a good 30 seconds without it hurting my eyes, it was like looking at the moon im not worried my camera still works

That's really cool. It's like a halo of some kind. It might have happened because the sunlight was dispersed through the circular cloud, creating a circular rainbow. Is this a good answer or am I totally off?

Bull shit, I bought my iPod there, with a 3 (4?) year warranty and apparently after you bring it in once (first time is free) all they pay after that is putting shipping towards your costs.

So instead of free as I was promised for all repairs with the warranty, it's $125, but! Shipping is covered!
