    Aeromax goes into production

For some time the Morgan Motor Company have been researching the viability of putting the stunning AeroMax into production.

After much individual customer consultation, we are delighted to say that the decision is positive, and that we plan a limited run of just 100 individually numbered cars starting in January 2008.

Priced at £94,000 ex factory plus taxes, we anticipate a strong response to this unique vehicle.

To join the list of the lucky few, please email your name and address to [email protected] and you will be sent instructions on how to join our reservation list. Cars will be supplied via your nearest, or preferred dealer.

More details can be found on the front page of the Morgan website. www.morgan-motor.co.uk

I love it as well, except for the preposterously big wheels...

The wheels or the fact that they're preposterously big?

In my opinion the size is the problem. They were 20", weren't they? I would much prefer the wire wheels offered on the Roadster V6. Give the car with those wheels and I want one... badly...

EDIT Oh and the exhaust system from the GTN, please...

Is the Aeromax just a coupe version of the Aero 8?

So big they look like aluminum wagon wheels... Kind of a nice look, imo.

THe picture on their site doesn't show it, but it is visually very different to the Aero 8. The headlights are less bug-eyed too.

    Cool.

I hope the split rear window made it to production. I think the 3/4 rear view is the best angle for this car. Beautiful!

That car was styled by a student, if I'm not mistaken. It's impressive that Morgan is putting it into production; not that the Aero 8 isn't doing OK as far as sales go, but they're still putting a lot on the line for such a small company. Let's just hope that they don't charge 300,000 euros (1.4 million U.S.D.) for it.

Erm 300.000 € are current excahnges rates are nearly 384.000 $, not 1.4 million $... And by the way as stated in the first post price is £94,000 (plus taxes), which is 136.000 € or 174.000 $ at current exchanges rates.
