    Fingers crossed.
If it looks like the orange sketch they showed in Topgear, I'll be happy...

    This reminds me of something....

It rubs the lotion on its skin. It does this whenever it is told. It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again.

Here's more information from CAR magazine:

    1. The BMW V8 engine will be the one used in the E39 M5, and it will produce at least 400bhp. The engine can be boosted to 500bhp for a Turbo Esprit.
    2. With VVA (versatile vehicle architecture, also used in the Lotus APX, the seven-seater that weighs only 1570kg), the new Esprit should weigh less than the old 1380kg Esprit, giving it a power-to-weight ratio of about 308bhp per tonne, more than the 997 Carrera S and the M6.
    3. The new Esprit can take a 6ft 5in driver with size 14 feet.
    4. Top speed should reach 200mph.

    Here it is:
    The Ace of All Aces.

    Crysis. Maximum Game.

I hope it has that simple, yet, "I am a supercar" look to it like the Esprit. I know Lotus has some wild designs but seeing a funky Esprit replacement would make me a unhappy camper.

I have no confidence the look will be anything to rave about after the latest Europa design...so boring it's a cure for insomnia.

    a BMW V8?

interesting...the Ascari KZ1 has a BMW V8 and IMO has elements of Lotus styling also

it would be interesting to see how they compare...price/performance/looks

Anyway 1 grand gets your name on the list. I think the list is at 10+ right now. And IMHO the lotus V8 was a piece of crap, lots of problems with head gaskets, not a good design.
You a big fan of that dealership? I love it, they had that Mclaren and Enzo right next to each other it was heavenly.

Well, Lotus have shown us in the last few years that they are capable of the very best as well of the worst in terms of styling.

Yes the Europa is quite bland. But look at the elise, exige and the 340R a few years back!
