Most probably a Silver Wraith or Silver Dawn. But I have no idea who did the body. I'd bet on some German/Austrian/Swiss company, since the back looks very Mercedes-esque.
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Yup, but in case of the Wendler Shooting Brake the client demanded that the car must look like Merc 300SE. So it's not the coachbuilder's fault.

probably the owner could have more cheaply bought a real 300SE and had it reworked by Universal in Belgium
but the mystery car is really special. I have been reading through a history on Horch lately and the car reminds me in a way of some of the Horch factory bodies for the 853 (A) and 951, but this rear window is very strange.
