    A very good car, but ugly as hell and sold under a make now suffering from bad reputation.
    Result: very nice 2nd hand purchase.

    they tried to give it a sort of Appia retro look, which did not go down very well

    Trying to find inspiration on the Appia is excessively retro.

    It definitely has a hint of Volkswagen Lupo in the headlamps...

    Theres was some futuroligy there then, since it came to the market much sooner. Anyway, on the Lupo the round little "eyes" resulted in a "cute" shape that somehow suited the Lupo very well. Can't say the same about the Lancia.

    I agree, you should see the original models with differents front ends. The other proposal was better in my opinion, with a front similar to the Mk I Ypsilon. There was an article about the Lybra in Italiaspeed if you want to read it.
