Do you ever TOUCH the brake pedal ? 75K sheez I wish !!!

Went through a set of yellows in 800 miles of alpine passes. Burnt off the backplate coatings even A bit unusual I admit !! Up till then they'd done 8000 miles, 3 trackdays and 16 competitions

I've learned to shrug off speed by downshifting before lights and the stuff. The extra rev's also make the engine sound loud at the lights and I like the attention from other drivers.

Ebc is pretty good for brakes then? Why do you go yellow?

Yellow is their "track" compound. Giving more bite and temp resistance at the expense of dust and noise. Hawk's equivalent is the HP+. Red is their street performance compound, which is not rated for heavy track work but will hold up to occasional abuse. It is supposed to have less dust and noise too. Hawk's equivalent is HPS. Green I think its their OE replacement pad with better dust and noise property.

Given we don't have a 'show off your latest construction efforts here' thread, I'll put this here. I finished building a plinth for my kitchen, and couldn't've done it without the help of my beastie. So practical it is!

I bought Tomtom Via Iberia, a shame Tomtom doens't allow direct access to the device memory, in the new devices anyway.

Just bought Assassin's Creed Brotherhood for $10.88, new and with free shipping after tax.

Best Buy was having a great deal today on it, I don't think you can order it online anymore, but pickup might still be possible.

Only bad thing is that it was backlogged and it won't ship until December.

Bought one of these as my old one was sucking wind running SolidWorks. Not as good as a Quadro 1000 but as good as my budget will allow, which means NVS4200. Sure helped that I got in on a deal that cut the price by a sizable sum even with tax.

Bigger screen means CAD'ding should be easier.
