you've got to be nuts to not allow cropping. i do my best every time i shoot to get the best layout but most of the time it requires a slight crop to really finalize the image.

I suggest we consider the limits of what we're allowed to do to the image as if it was a printed photograph on actual paper. you can't edit it in any way, but you may want to remove that one annoying thing in the bottom corner that may ruin a spectacular shot, so you crop it.

    just my opinion.

i'll have to admit that i've cropped in previous contests, since i never considered it 'editing'.

There's been heaps of cropped photos entered, it's just that this one's noticable because it's not the standard 4:3 or 3:2 aspect ratio of a camera

I crop a number of my photos, often times to a more "widescreen" 16:9 ratio, just because certain shots look better that way/crap in the corner stuff. It's never seemed to be an issue before... I vote it's okay to do.
i was waiting on a moment, but the moment never came. all the billion other moments, were just slipping all away. i must have been tripping, we're just slipping all away. just ego tripping.

    Zeppelin, great photo!
I intend to buy a Hoya 72 one of this days. It's cheaper than a real IR conversion, and the results are very good.

AAA-mod, i really like the composition.

Thanks I recommend it, it's really fun to experiment with and brings a whole new light to regular scenes. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.
