Completely off-topic topic but I love your avatar... Where did you get it?

    Nice pics, by the way.

Haha, the F430 looks like an SUV when side to side with an F1.

I actually did a lot of research on Tim Layzell for my Graphic Design AS, and based a website design on it for my final piece of work. He is an amazing artist ... love the flowing lines just as much as I love the colours.

The F1 with the Aero kit looks pretty good for those who can't afford to get a LM.

It's not about affording an LM anymore. They're so rarely up for sale, most F1 owners can afford one but cant get hold of one.

This is reportedly one of the highest mileage F1s in the world in private hands. The car is chassis #020, owned by Tony Smith in the UK. He's fairly active in the vintage racing scene and his F1 is often spotted at events like this. He's also loaned the car out to 5th Gear and one one occasion allowed the voice of F1, Murray Walker, to get behind the wheel.

The plate reads 'I3 MAC' btw.

    Thanks for the new photos.

There's a very good reason why people blur out number plates in photos of cars...

I saw a silver one in real traffic during our last visit in London near Marble Arch/Hide Park corner. A real stunning machine.

but its good to hear that he is using his car regulary....its a shame that some people buy cars as investments and then never use them by keepin them locked up in a garage....

No there isn't... It's truly a farce to think that it matters one bit.

Even when this car was featured on 5th Gear's "World's Greatest Cars" episode the plate was not covered as you can see below. If it was really a concern it would have been removed in advance by the owner, covered by the production crew, or blurred out in post production.

Blurring plates on the internet seems to be a habit campaigned by the overly paranoid, that's all.

That's exactly why it's an investment. These aren't your run of the mill cars.

The higher the mileage, the lower your resale value. People like rare supercars. They like them even more with low miles.
