    What exactly is great about it? Apart from perhaps being an engineering marvel. The Bugatti Type 35, is much greater...

    That's it... an engineering marvel - it is surely the greatest automotive engineering achievement?

    This is what it will look like they said (see pic)... this is what it did look like (see other pic). Pretty damn close for production -> concept. They got the top speed and the power and most importantly of all, from an engineering point of view at least, made 1000bhp wholly driveable.

    Awesome, just not focussed enough on the human element of driving to be the best.

    Personally, I would rather own a McLaren F1 or a Lamborghini Gallardo which are beautiful cars... rather than the very expensive and ugly Bugatti Veyron. I wouldn't want to travel at 400+ kilometers per hour anyway. That is just suicidal.
