    But why?? It's been good to me we have had 2 VCR's samsung both still run over 10 years old, Bought my new one a few years back. Bought my first DVD player in 2000 Samsung still runs, Updated a couple of years ago Samsung again. Our first new TV Samsung still going great bought it back in 94 my next updated TV will be a Samsung also done us great till they play up and die or a new one is a lemon i wont consider something else till they do me wrong.
    They also make good LCD Screens

    Sony Bravia LCDs are made by Samsung, they just have different picture processors

    Can't believe it how many make others and brand them.
    But car makers do that also but i think in the Electronics world they hide it better.
