Corvette, Spitfire are some of my favourite names named after military vehicles.

Corniche, Cayenne and M3 are great car names. I like the sound of the words... Rolls Royce Corniche, BMW M3 and Porsche Cayenne.

You don't think that Porsche Cayman is better? It certainly has a cooler meaning- little alligator- a car that's small, but still delivers a nasty bite if you treat it badly

As much as I love the M3, it's a totally soulless name- no matter how much racing history you pour into it.

Corniche sounds like an ice cream to me

Most things sound sexy in Italian I guess. Mundane things like Four-door and Red-head are made to sound exotic and lustful - Quattroporte, Testarossa etc

In my opinion, it's hard to beat "Thunderbird."

Also very cool: most Italian names (Maranello, Brera, Murcielago, etc.), Mustang, Cougar (), and D12 Peking-to-Paris.

    Worst car name: Chevrolet Uplander
UCP's biggest (only?) fan of the '74-'76 Mercury Cougar.
    UCP's proudest owner of a '74 Cougar

    My favorite color is chrome.

I agree, the Tipo Seidicivalvolve has to be the coolest hot hatch ever, just for the name...

And I also like 60's/70's american musclecar's names like the Boss Mustang, Cougar Eliminator and the likes... only americans have that sort of self confindence....

    Is that Tipo 16v?

And someone else has sense! Let's not forget the Challenger 340 Six Pack... and the Hemi 'Cuda...

most Italian names sound cool... Like Ferrari uses for its cars.

Lotus cars have cool names too, the Exige and the Aston Martin Vanquish

and the Panoz Esperante, sounds pretty cool!

    Gotta' be the Viper.

Suprised hardly anyone has said that yet.

I like the names Lancia uses, they're a kind of a mix between real names and plain letters. And then there are the spanish names, such as Espada and Tiburon.
