    I saw a Shelby.

    One C. Shelby that is.

Local car get together in Laguna Beach. I was looking at him for like 5 minutes thinking "Is it him?" by the time I made a positive I.D. and started walking over to talk to him, he was getting in his smart car to leave. I missed my chance to talk to a living car legend. On the up side, I got waved to by him. So it wasn't a total loss.

Johnny saw him at Limerock too, and talked to him. But what made this strange was it was a small get together in Laguna Beach, not some huge car show where that would be expected, so it made it a little more fun.

He came dancing across the water
    With his galleons and guns
    Looking for the new world
In that palace in the sun
    On the shore lay Montezuma
With his cocoa leaves and pearls

btw, the creator of some of the meanest and baddest musclecars on earth drives a SMART???? odd, no?

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you.

It's probably that crazy ass SMART with the hayabusa engine in it, that's made out of like carbon fibre and does those sick burnout donuts.

    A new gt500 is a little different from a 60's cobra.
I know he used to race, he set some of the first records at Lime Rock. But didn't he have to leave because of health problems?
