    2007/2008 Movies (Supposedly)

Well, some of these are doubtful, and I doubt many of them will be made.

American Pie 5: The Naked Mile
    AVP2
    The Butterfly Effect 2
    Dirty Harry
The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning (Wtf?)
    Fahrenheit 911 1/2 (again, wtf?)
Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer
Ghost Rider (this sounds like a remake....)
    Godzilla: 3D to the Max
    Hamlet
    Hawaii Five-O
Hellboy 2: The Golden Army (also reports a Hellboy TV show).
    Hostel: Part II
    Johnson Family Vacation 2
Kameo (literally, it says a 2007 movie).
    Police Academy (another one?)
    Prey (no info)
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (I've heard somethings about this turning into a movie trilogy)
    Reno 911! Miami
    The Ring 3
Rush Hour 3 (So many reports since 2004)
    The Sandlot 3
Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run (Stars the Rock like the game)
    Wolverine (From X-Men)

    2008 "Films"
    Adventures in Babysitting (Remake)
    Far Cry
Flash Gordon (Would be a remake, correct?)
    Madagascar 2
    Metal Gear Solid (Confirmed right?)
    Pet Shop of Horrors (Remake)
Puss in Boots (A milker movie if made)
    Rainbox Six
RPM (2 guys race around Europe)
    Scary Movie 5
Sin City 3 (Obviously untrue for now)
    The Smurfs (Why?)
    Speed Racer (Wouldn't be surprised)
    Terminator 4
Toy Story 3 (Again, wouldn't be surprised)

Others coming are Jurassic Park 4, another Star Trek (Matt Damon as Kirk), Knight Rider, and more.

    Batman: The Dark Knight
July 31, 2006 - Warner Bros. has announced the title of the next film in the Batman franchise. The Dark Knight will be the name of the Chris Nolan-directed flick. And the studio confirms that Heath Ledger will play the role of The Joker. Jeff Robinov, President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures, made the announcement late Monday.

"Chris' unique vision is what made Batman Begins such an outstanding film and we could not imagine anyone else at the helm of The Dark Knight," said Robinov. "We also can't wait to see two such formidable actors as Christian and Heath face off with each other as Batman and The Joker."

"I'm excited to continue the story we started with Batman Begins," added Nolan. "Our challenge in casting The Joker was to find an actor who is not just extraordinarily talented but fearless. Watching Heath Ledger's interpretation of this iconic character taking on Christian Bale's Batman is going to be incredible."

The Dark Knight begins filming in early '07 from a script by Jonathan Nolan. Before they battle each other as the Caped Crusader and the Clown Prince of Crime, Bale and Ledger will first appear together in the Bob Dylan-themed pic I'm Not There.

In related news, The Batman-on-Film.com website reiterates the rumor that the next Batman movie will feature multiple villains, namely Joker and The Penguin. The latter will reportedly be reconceived for the film as "a British arms dealer/mob boss with designs on Gotham."

And who is said to have been offered the role of The Penguin? Nolan reportedly wants previously rumored candidate Philip Seymour Hoffman, who ironically beat Heath Ledger in this past year's Oscar race for Best Actor. Like Ledger, however, Hoffman is said to be reluctant to join the sequel.

Finally, a BoF report claims that Ryan Phillippe is in the running for the role of D.A. Harvey Dent, a.k.a. the future Two-Face. Phillippe appeared in last year's Best Picture, Crash, and will next be seen in Clint Eastwood's Flags of Our Fathers.

No more Fast and Furious? And no Cars 2? Toy Story is just getting really old, it's not gonna do that well...

Well, considering Cars is still fairly new and the F&F Tokyo Drift is as well, I doubt it. Maybe in 3-4 years.

    In other news:

Hollywood to ban all original ideas, in favour of poor quality rehashes of material that was never really that good in the first place.
    Thanks for all the fish

I didn't realise that there was an American Pie 4...
And I don't think we need a Toy Story 3, Buzz and Woody are 10 years old now!

MGS shouldn't be too bad since I keep hearing it's creator, Hideo K., is working with whoever's making it.
