A fun GT4 game for racing freaks

Pick your track and set a lap on the defensive line, but as fast as you can. Then drive the course again in the same car and try to get past your ghost without hitting it. It'll suck up hours!

It's really hard not to hit it. I do something similar, except I blow past my ghost at the first chance possible. I basically just run it over. By doing that I don't think that you obtain the fastest lap. However, there's definately more strategy involved than my just getting the fastest lap thing. Is there a way to turn the ghost off? It's really annoying sometimes when you just want to see the physical car, not the fastest lap. GT3 had the option.

That's cool but stupid. I'd rather do the Nurburgring 24hr race and practice on the racing line.

If only the AI car meter actually made the AI a better driver instead of just having a faster car. Almost like easy, normal and hard modes were on the other GT games.

True.. the AI is pretty damned crap.
But at least its not the cheating type like the newer NFS games (Underground +)

Do they smack you off when you try to pass them and brake really hard, really hard and often and unncessairly on GT4 like the AI in Forza?

Never had a problem with GT4 AI, aside from being really predictable..
Oh, and it's damn near impossible to push them around.
