    Check out the second picture

My buddy just sent me an e-mail from a camping trip we had a while back, and I thought you guys might like to see them.

So damn cool. You can see forever when the skies are clear; all of downtown Vancouver, mountains all around, well into the US, etc.

Tricky place to get to but well worth it

the last time I can remember was at the Coys Historic Festival in 1998. If you look carefully you can see junior's head in the car. He refused to sleep in a tent...

Don't want to hijack the thread. It is a very nic place....to stay for a couple of hours, but who would want to see the US, even on a clear day?

I stumbled across some programme involving Jack Osbourne climbing "El Capitan", a 915m/3000ft cliff which takes several days to climb.

Sleeping involved a cantilevered man-made ledge => -| (if you can decipher that).

If you rolled over in the night you'd have rather a shock...

Why ? i bet the tent was more comfy as the car

My last time in a tent was 5 years ago with my best friend and his parents. It was really in the middle of nowhere(=cheap). We walked out of the tent and stood in the middle of a field with cows on the river Maas Never had that nice milk in the morning again in my life After a few days it started raining badly,we gathered the empty crate of beer lying a round and bought a large piece of wood to put the tent on. A nearby tree served as toilet
Best vacation ever, not meant cynically, it really was.

Yeah, that was honestly the best part. You could sit there as long as you want and not stop being amazed by the view.

Next Time I'm taking camping chairs and I'll haul up my brother's telescope

Generally people in my province aren't huge fans of people who start forest fires.

But a potato cannon would be pretty fun

I'd launch them so they'd be in the air instead of catching the forest on fire

A paint grenade cannon would be better

That's a great view, look at the drop off on the second pic! That would be a bad place to camp if you're a sleep walker!!
