I want to die in my sleep like my Grandma, not screaming like the other 3 people in her car.

Are you shure the 0-60 for the porsche is correct? I think 3.4s for that car is very fast with 480Hp and 1585 Kg. (think the Enzo has 660 HP and 1255 Kg and does 0-60 in 3.3 s )

Anyway, I would take the porsche

With all that torque and all wheel drive, it makes the car move pretty quick.

I think the caterham would definetly be more fun, but for practicality, the porsche.

What an utterly stupid comparison. £100,000+ GT vs £30K weapon.

I've got another one for you...

When I'm driving in Britain, I like a roof over my head, because there's a likely chance it'll rain. Plus, I'll be able to keep my girl happy if I go to pick her up. Very fussy about her hair.

Those 1.9TDis are very quick... particularly if you get the 150bhp version and get it chipped and remapped!

However, I see your point. What's with all the comparisons?

When I saw the title of this thread, I was thinking of voting superlight, cause a real sportscar is light weighted and a good engine isn't just about a lot of bhp. But a Porsche 997 911 is just so bloody amazing, I go for that one. I'm really waiting for the GT2 997 to come out, it will probably kick ass. (I'm making myself believe that I can buy the GT2 when it comes out)

Who here is a bit angered by the fact that Gtek-i does not answer your questions of why he makes these comparisons?
